I got my Regulator's last week. Yesterday was beautiful so I decided to take out a Regulator and my Dogfather LE to cut down a few Locust trees (which are hard as concrete). I was extremely impressed at how well the Regulator chopped. It didn't meet or exceed the chopping ability of the Dogfather by any means, but was very impressive. The Reg just wouldn't sink into the hard wood like the DF would. I like the basic Res-C grips a bit better, but the Reg's handle is growing on me the more I use it. Here are a couple pics for your viewing pleasure.
