A Scrap Yard Tanto style blade? As far as I know they've never made one. A nice sized tanto with a penetrator tip would be nice and something very different I think. What does everyone else think?

Should SY make a Tanto style blade?

For those unsure of what a tanto looks like, here are some pics of a couple. I thik SY could do a mean tanto. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Curved version:

I like both.

I said no, but only because Dan releases knives slowly and I'd rather see another 1/4" x 4.5" clip point or another big chopper soon.

My knife interests are more "survival / camp task" in nature so a tanto doesn't appeal to me much.

honestly a tanto would be my least favorite release

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if you don't take it out and use it, it's going to rust.

I've little interest in a blade shape like the CS or Fehrman, but like the one in the pic Mr. Pink posted.

So no love for a Yard tanto sword. Ok, I will take one like Pinks.
