At this point, I only have three knife companies that I care to deal with Scrapyard, Ranger, and Emerson. I know that Scrapyard and Ranger overlap, but I really like Justin's attitude, and he is able to do more personalized projects. There were a lot of people on the Ranger forum that were curious about the DF and its size. I posted a picture comparing it to an RD7 and a TFI, and he had no problem with it.

Heck i have trouble Renting most movies!
there's just so much garbage out these days! i don't think i've seen a Really Good movie in.. 2 years now!

Sometimes i'll walk into a movie rental place.. look at ALL the new releases.. Sigh, and walk right into the OLD movies section!

Yes, most movies are mediocre and there are a bunch of stupid ghost movies because they can be made with a low budget (I blame the Blair Witch Project).

One that I am looking forward to is Grind House. Tarantino and Rodriguez always seem to make good movies if you can get past the gore, language and partial nudity (unless you include Spy Kids or the adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl).

Arf arf arf... That's my other dog impression.

that last part went right over my head..

Grind House.. that's the one with 2 movies in one.. and the girl with a rifle for a leg..

Reservoir Dogs & Pulp Fiction were my Favorites! oh man.. i can still watch Pulp Fiction and bust out laughing!.. but it seems like he kinda went downhill after that..

The Kill Bill Series was excelent.

From Dusk till Dawn is one of the few decent vampire flics out there.

Sin City was really good if you can get over the gore, language and partial nudity.

Rodriguez got his start with El Mariachi, a super violent low budget film, then he did From Dusk till Dawn.

Some how he was the director for Spy Kids and the Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl. I have seen pieces of both of those movies (because I couldn't watch the whole thing). They might be good for kids but I wasn't entertained (as opposed to The Incredibles which was fun for all ages). I think the best thing to come out of those films is that Shark Boy was a test vehicle for the special effects that he used so well in Sin City.

Saw it yesterday, not bad for action, story too stupid. Great if you just wanna see some explosions, shootings and some knife action. I recommend bringing your DF for the movie, carve up some butter for the pop corns!

Thanks for the insight and coaching

Dan

I liked The prestige , Trailer Park boys , Oldboy , and The Departed. There are decent movies out there but almost anything designed by the studios to make money is going to suck because they are written by focus groups. They show the original movie to either men under 30 or woman under 25 and change it based on how they score it. It was woman under 25 who were responsible for all the changes to 300.
That whole stupid subplot where it seemed like there was no support for the war
IN SPARTA was to give the queen a more central role and appeal to young woman.

The Prestige was really good. I thought Oldboy was okay, not great as my friends thought.
