In my opinion it is about 100x better than the square choil on the SOD and S5.

I like rounded choils a lot better too. I just received an Urban Mutt, and the rounded choil makes choking up on the blade as comfortable as possible. My "trigger finger" gets "nicked" with the S5 square choil.

I've posted befor that I don't like the square choil,but the TT reg feels good to me.But then so does the Dereg.
