Hey all,

I got my two DMs in the mail today and I have to say, these knives are phenomenal! The size, the shape, the feel, the fit and finish, and the appearance are great. I got a chance to take them to a stump at my Grandmother's house and these perform. I really love the design. They're my first Dogs too. My question for Dan, or anyone who may know, is will we be seeing the Dumpster Mutt again? I know that the Basic handles were in limited supply but basically I was wondering if the DM will be made again just using the standard Res-C handles.

Yeah that's why I wanted to know. I really see this possibly becoming one of my main knives and would like more than two. Oh well. Guess I gotta start prowling the For Sale Forum over on BF to score a few more.

Since it is so great, the one I get will be all I need. Oh believe me, I wanted to order a few, but with so perfect of a knife....1 is all you need!

I think it will be difficult to trump the Dumpster Mutt! That thing is perfect.....or so I am told!

Yeah, the reviews seem kind of positive on it so far... Looking forward to playing with mine! Any ETA for your GF?

Judging from my Dog Father, the large handle was made for .250" thick blades, it's a bit too small for .285" but Dan made it fit any way.

The Basics were all .250" so he was able to do the same thing with the DM.

The Small Swamp Rat Handle was made for .1875" thick blades. I don't think he can shove in another .100" of steel.

I think a ~DM around .200" thick would be nice, but not the same thing.

Yeah but I'm kind of clumsy and prone to oddity. My luck, I'll drop one accidentally and while I'm going to retrieve it, a large bird will swoop down and take it.<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
