I have none yet but I'm working on getting my Possession and Acquisition License (PAL for long guns) then my RPAL (Restricted PAL). It's a pain to get firearms in Canada but one I'm willing to fight through.

I'm sure Tonestar could suggest some great handguns... oh, don't worry, when I'm ready to buy I'll be asking everyone for advice, I want to go handle some first though, get a feel for what I want first

I want a G17 and 20 BAD! And I like the Remy 870. One cool thing about Canada is that we can have short shotty's. I want a 14" bbl. Ghost rings with pic rail. I don't have a rifle picked out yet. Well not a non-restricted anyways. SCAR's a f'in SWEET though. As well they should be for the price. they are non-restricted here too.

No weapons on public places kills me. Do you think the bad guys pay attention to those signs?
I'm going to my grandpas service in Idaho this weekend. Idaho honors my oregon permit, the problem is I'm staying 5min across the bridge in Washington who doesn't honor my permit.
Do I carry for 5min in Washington to get to idaho and risk being a bad guy?
