Hi Horn Dog! My wife says if I buy a viking helmet I am OUT! It is not a requirement, Mitch.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I especially appreciate the Sir with the horned helmet and the other gentleman for their kind offerings. My drivel must have been too horrible for them to look at. I am however respectfully declining the offers as I live in Ye Olde Europe and I believe this was not clear to them from my first post. But I do find it great that there are a few that would be willing to help a deserving US serviceman without hesitation if help was needed.

If I may still add to the conversation, one of my points sort of was the sales method and the second hand prices that may fit fine (perfectly?) for collectors adding the excitement of purchasing a new cool hard duty blade from a small volume manufacturer. Those with steady life and work can surely easily deal with timing critical sales by batches but to those of us that live more fastpaced life with many unknown factors thrown in acquiring a Scrapyard may be somewhat tricky. It has certainly proven difficult for me.

Dan107, I hear you.. If you can believe it.. there were Some knives that were even Worse! yes the Dumpster Mutt sold out in ~4 hours..
But, the 2nd Offer of Street Scrapper 4 sold out in LESS than 5 Minutes!! Some of the first Busse Game Wardens sold out in Seconds!!
So yes.. some of the more "limited" knives are Very Crazy!
However.. having said that.. Other knives such as Scrapper 6 lasted for Months, so did the HRLMs. Dog Father lasted ~3-1/2 days. SwampRat Mini-Mojos are In Stock right Now! these have been what? over a month now? And there are several Busses In-Stock right now as well.. BATAC, AK, FBM..
so the 'regular production' type knives tend to be In-Stock much longer.

I was very fortunate to be around for the DF release. One of the things that make this forum so great is the interactions and helping fellow dogs. I will receive a DM from a fellow dog who was kind enough to cover me. Even though you are accross the big pond, I believe it is possible for you to get one or more of the knives you seek. Please let me know if you want to try.

. . . the 'regular production' type knives tend to be In-Stock much longer The rules for purchasing a Scrap Yard knife are incredibly simple: 1) Show up to the party on time. 2) Buy the moment the product becomes available. 3) If you can't show up to the party on time, get somebody who can to cover your back. Yep. That about sums it up.
