Hey guys - I'm behind on reading posts and still catching up - just curious as to whether or not anyone has thrown their DM? I just got mine, and think it'll throw well! And you wouldn't have to worry about it breaking

I'm not anywhere where I can do it now either... I'm sure the neighbors would freak out if I was in the front yard chucking a knife into a tree...

I just think it'll do a great job is all!

I threw mine right after I opened the box and it bounced off the stump. With that robust spine it takes a whole lotta force to stick that point.

Warning: those rubber handles bounce real good!

Thanks Kraz. You saying that you could end up with one in your eye if you're not careful?

I just can't stick little knives very well. Now, the DF throws fine, but I got a new 9" thrower coming.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I did throw the DF a couple of times. It did well.

I threw the RD9 and it was waving back and forth after I stuck it. Won't do that again, don't wanna break the tip off!!!

Yeah, it bounced back a little too close for comfort. Which is why I only tried it..twice LOL.

Returning to the thrower is a great feature on a boomerang but a terrible feature on sharp pointy knives

Sounds like you need another trip to the woods! Just put a bright lanyard on it first so you don't lose it. I don't think I'd throw it, I'd be afraid of the bounce.
