Thanks all. I like the ballance on this puppy, it's totally blade heavy. While 5" knives don't make good choppers, the Dumpster Mutt feels like it can chop as good as a 7" blade knife. The resiprene C handle feels awesome as usual. Boy am I glad I got this mutt.

Kraz did some pretty substantial chopping w/ his DM 2 days ago - I was impressed! That Basic3 sure is a beauty too. I think the DM is the perfect size and weight though. I'd like a slightly larger handle (my complaint about almost all knives) but other than that, the DM is the perfect little knife!

I thought the old style HR handle and the DM handle felt very similar in my hand with the exception of the nubby grip indents on each side on the DM.
