Dad had to replace the exhaust (before it blew up) and he put on (it had dual exhausts) a pair of walker contential glass packs. SWEET!

We estimated that on a couple runs I had it up to about 160MPH (about 257kph) for you Metric folks!

Yup, tape a $100.00 dollar bill to the dash and tell the passenger that IF they can grab the bill within about 3-4 seconds upon takeoff they can have it, and then hit the gas.

Yeah, but when you're that age, you don't scare so easily UNLESS you have a close call. The blow up was MY wake up. I got to thinking what would have happened IF the rear wheels would have locked up doin 160!

MY most favorite car that I have owned was my '92 lumina sport. Sadly, at 168K miles it started going south so I got rid of it and we bought this '02 escort. Not a bad LITTLE car.
