Yup, getting Game/parts cross the border could get us BOTH in trouble. I agree, Nothing wrong with hunting for the meat. I have an uncle that killed deer all year long, in and out of season. Game warden knew about it but didn't do anything to him. He FED HIS FAMILY. Very poor back then and couldn't afford much but they had food on the table. He ususlly only shot a couple a year. yeah, I know it was illegal but when someone is doing it for a reason like that, hard to fault them for it. IF they didn't need it he didn't shoot one.

Normally a lot. They just don't seem to be out yet. I spotted 6 black bears in a single day last week. Expect to see some grizzly bears soon as well. There are more bears in the Yukon than people. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Our spring is really only just underway now. It was an easy winter too so I don't know if that will impact when they come out.

hey Jared, you need to get you one of those leather skiving machines. It's kind alike a pasta maker but shaves the leather into thin sheets. Saw one once on a special where there were making racing saddles.
