Mag, you getting any riding in? Just got back from a short ride, maybe 30 or 40 miles. Took two hours though. Forestry roads, some wierd goat trail and one road paved in about 5 or 6 inches of sand! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Never tried a hammock to sleep in before, sounds interesting though. Do you put the pad on the ground underneath the hammock to cushion the inevitable fall during the night? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

yeah, I'd wind up in a lawn chair and I don't remember if my Mummy bag is in my storage unit or here at the house. either way, my bed seems a bit more appealing right now. I wish I had trees to hang a hammock on though. no big ones in the yard anymore.

That sounds like a good idea. I was picturing normal hammock height.
I'm only put on about 700 miles so far this year, but loving every minute of it.
