pardon the ignorance, that's not the one currently on preoder on the busse site is it? Curious how it stacks up to the DF. Do I NEED another large chopper or am I just getting greedy. I don't have a DF, but I had a Battle Rat. I can say that the NMFBM does chop better. And you will only find them on the secondary market or maybe at special events such as Blade, Knob Creek or Ganzas.

any ideas on it's performance? I think it performs well. I think it performs better than the AK for chopping. It bites deeper. If you want a good review, look for 230gr's review on Blade Forums Busse Forums. I think that Ankerson has some good videos too. I'm sure someone will provider a link soon.

from what I've read, the BWM is faster, lighter in the hand, but doesn't chop as well as the heavier blades, but a K said, check out 230's reviews, he does some nice chopping reviews
