Jeff - your mention of your brother and the humidity made me laugh. A couple of years ago a buddy of mine and his brother were going to visit us from New Port Richey, Florida. I warned him about the heat and humidity here in summer, and they just laughed and reminded me that they are coming from Florida and they know all about heat and humidity. Well, once they got here they almost wilted and died, and didn't want to leave my air-conditioned house! Where I grew up in South Africa they used to have Humidity days (like snow days) where they would close the school when the humidity got out of control. Unfortunately it only happened once while I was at high school but as you can imagine, I really appreciate living in the NW. Really, that is some humidity right there 1,000 boys and no aircon in any of the buildings. The gym smelt terrible. We also had to wear long trousers, long sleeved shirts, ties. The blazer was mandatory when you were going to or from school.

Sumo, what type of shooting are you doing tomorrow? I will have the .357, 44 mag, and .22 lr revolvers, a .22 lr rifle, and probably my 1895SBL Guide Gun. Nice. I went for a drive today on the Rez. It was so muddy that I lost control of my truck and almost went off the side of a hill. After that, I decided to just try and get back to a paved road. So, no shooting for me today. Sumo, you should take pics.

Yes it will. My dad will have a couple .357 revolvers and my brother will probably have a revolver and a Glock 19. I am ready to go.

Today kids in America would revolt for the uniform not to mention no A/C.

They took the worst bits of the English school traditions and amplified them.
When I tell my kids that the teachers could (and did) beat us with willow canes they can't believe it. And that was in the 80s.

NMFBM! I had a chance to use the NMFBM for a little chopping. I "made" a baton too. The NMFBM really bites deep into the wood. It feels really well balanced for such a large blade. If the NMFBM LE really is THAT much better as people have said, I cannot wait to try that. However, I like the balance of the NMFBM. I'm not sure that the heftier NMFBM LE would be a plus. I wonder if there is anyone who prefers the quicker NMFBM CG over the LE. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
