Yup, with the exception of Whitehorse, Dawson and Watson most community have a population around the 250 to 450 mark. Just little dots on the map! Emergency services are spread out as well as each community has a volunteer FD and EMS. If you get hurt on the highway, the nearest ambulance could be 60 or 80 miles away. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

Update, EMS enroute to the ER and they say he is gonna be fine once they get him back "up to par".

Deep down I was worrying about the possibility of a severe diabetic stroke. Not pretty.

I sometimes wish for solitude like that. I get SO tired of people sometimes.

Haven't heard of any Diabetic emergency around here getting THAT bad. Usually EMS gets on scene and starts getting them back up pretty quick. We have a lot of them though for some reason but they ALL, so far, have turned out OK.

YES! My IDEAL would be having a STURDY well built log cabin on a gradual slope down to about a 10-20 acre untouched lake. The house would have to be backed up to an evergreen forest. I think we've talked about this before and you put up some kind of a picture of where you stayed for a few days hunting or fishing or something.
