I know what you are talking about. I know a guy that did his time in Viet Nam, gets home and has his melon snipped with a .25 auto. The bullet zipped along the sull and out. Talk about lucky. I had a great friend get shot after hs, the 9mm bullet hit his collar bone and traveled towards the heart and Patrick bled out under 15 seconds. All can make a bad day.

Funny thing is if it wasn't for my wife I wouldn't have gone back and gotten the gun. I was talking to her about it and she is the one that said IF I didn't get it I would always regret it. She's right! She was not happy that I traded in the Llama though. I told her I have had it for well Heck, since I guess 1986. Man didn't realise I had it THAT long. And like I said only shot 1 magazine though it. ACCORDING to a couple of for sale places I've seen THEY were wanting annwyere from $350.00 up to $550.00 for the Llama! I don't feel bad though, I got a gun I have wanted and as I said I only paid $150.00 for it.

Not bad at all. I know the Llama is a hard sell around here but you rarely see the HS deringer for sale. I think you made a good trade.
I shot over 300 rd of .38 spcl today, 200 rds. .22lr, 50 or so .357 mag, 50 or so 9mm, and about 30 .45-20 today. Had a literally blast.

I have been hankering to get a Glock 19 again, and after shooting my brothers today I think I should. I can pick one up, no matter whose it is and tear a target to pieces. For some reason that black cold plastic and I get along great. I know that my dad and brother are revolver fans now. I only had revolvers today and they had theirs too---had to show them what their ole' Rugers can do LOL.

BTW I have a 19 that I got from a Dead officers wife. Put it up one night to go down into the jail and when I took it out of the box ripped off the rear plastic adjustable sights! GOTTA get some new ones put on it.

She pretty much lets me get a gun or knife If we have the money. Problem is I DO want stuff of course, but would rather she get what she wants instead (most of the time anyway <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> )!

Eveni.... Morning guys! it's 2 here sooo... lol. I should be sleeping, I have a 5 hour drive ahead of me tomorrow morning, but I'm too excited to sleep yet. I'm supposed to be going on that hunting trip I had planned for 2 weeks ago at 8 today. I will have my phone charger with me (my jeep has a 120V plug in the center console, it's awesome!) so I should be getting PLENTY of pics. I will post as soon as I manage to get them all uploaded to my computer and then to photobucket... no small task.
