Most of the time, it's not to bad. Just have to deal with as best as we can. Oh, BTW, I spent 2 1/2 years at Pope AFB. I gather that you are several miles west of there, anywhere around Ashville (beautiful area, spent 4 days there once).

We're an hour to the east of Asheville. I love it here, been here my whole life. I applied for a job in Billings Mt a couple years ago, but my wife told me she would mail my divorce papers to me so I figured I better stick around here.

Hehe, you ARE in a pretty area of the state. I've been through Billings once with my mom and dad on vacation as a kid. Based ONLY on what I saw, you're in a prettier area.

What I like the most is I'm close to the mountains, but can still be at the ocean in about 4 hours if I go to Charleston

Personally, I would prefer the mountains. Went exploring in the smokies in Tennessee once with a friend and ALMOST got lost 4wheeling cross country.
