I'd like to meet up with some other dogs for dinner if we could find somewhere reasonable, I just can't swing Fogo this time.

Fogo sounds great, but not in my budget this trip. Next year, probably.

How goes it today? Spent the whole day out messing around at a small lake, fishing, doing some exploring, hit a couple gun shops of which is about an hr away from home and had a great mexican food late lunch. Ended up taking my pops Ruger revolver apart and doing a detailed cleaning, I bet that was the first real cleaning that revolver ever had.

I took several knives today but ended up not using any except light cutting as we just felt like fishing. Here is an idea of the size of some of the bream wewere catching today, many smaller ones, rock bass, and black bass. The knife is a SYCO Bird Dog LE. This bream fought harder than most 5 lb bass, but then again I was using an ultra-light and 4 lb test. More sporting and fight.

Better than my day. Slept till noon, got up did some stuff around the house, then off to work at 5pm till 5:30 am.

This is where we were fishing and messing around at. Will be going back soon. Time to take the tube out there for some deeper water fishing.

I enjoy flyfishing for bream and sunfish, especially using poppers and foam spiders. Talk about fun...

rth, that is what my brother and I were talking about on the way home--going even lighter. No flu rod here as this is a canyon pond and the sides are too close to you to get any whip. Kinda like playing pool on a bar table inside the kitchen.
