By the looks of the old 30's truck, the turn of the century cellar, the size of the trees, and the foundation what can be seen from the fence line of an old burn out house I would put this as pretty old LOL. From the story I was told the guy started it iin the 50's and put in a mental home in the ealry 60's. I can not figure out for the life of me all the different pipes running through the place. The first time I saw this I figured an old barn or cotton gin type thing. I started asking around about it and no one really wanted to say much. Anyway, I have become pretty good friends with a guy that lives in the town south of this place and he farms east of it a little ways. I think I will talk to hime next time I am out that way and see if there is more to the story or of he know hwho owns the land.

Jeff: You could always check at the county courthouse, they have records of landowners. You could probably find the spot on a map and then have them look it up for you. Lots of folks do that around here.

Here's an areal view of the lake we camped at. The lighter green area to the left of the blue circle is where we camped at.

If the guy I know doesn't know I will do that. The county courthouse is another 45 minutes north of this place so I thought I would try local area first. Then again the town south of here doesn't have a library anymore so I wonder where they sent old newspaper articles. Should look through them too.

So how are you doing tonight Mr. Skunk?

Stevo, that is a nice boddy of water. Did you fish any?
I fished a little bit on Sunday morning. We didn't catch much. It was a little windy Sunday. But on Saturday when I was taking pictures my buddy and his dad caught 25 between the two of them. All in about an 1 1/2 hours!

Stevo, that is pretty neat. Is that a program from your phone? If so, we will have to do that out at the Spooky place.
