Dang it, wish I had set up a proxi for that. But I didn't want to wind up spending a couple hundred on something I could find cheaper. Oh Well, I'll survive. It's not like I don't have a knife that size.

i got mine on the second hand market at what i think was a good price. got it for 180$ shipped, brand new and it came with buybrown kydex.

I think you did really good. A SOD AND bb sheath for $180. I dont't think there was really a large markup on that combo.

yah i love the darn knife. before i had the SOD i had a Becker BK-7. it was alright. the sheath was kinda cheap and i really wasnt into the handle material. as soon as i got the SOD i sold the Becker off.

I had THOUGHT about getting a Bk7 a while back, about the time the S5 came out. But I held off waited and finally got a deal on a DF. Man am I glad I waited. THEN I got A Milreg, which I think will be a good all around knife but I just think I would like a SOD better for what I will be using it for. Jeep to fallen branch, back to jeep.
