I have a Waki so I don't need the new Scrapyard sword. I have my reprofiled KZ, so I could pass on the new KZ II. I have two BWMs and a DFLE, so I don't need a Basic 11. But that Team Gemini 7 is a unique combat knife that I'd love to add to my collection of combat knives. It would be fun to compare it to the Chris Reeve Green Beret knife. But most of all, I hate missing all the fun at the Blade Show and seeing all the dogs, rats, and hogs again. Blade is like Christmas and New Year's Eve in June. It's a "must do" for any knife lover.

Maybe next yaer Vic <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />- that is when we are planning to go. We are hoping to make a 3 week vacation out of the whole thing so it works out better. SS is like any government office except worse IMO <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />. I am waiting till I am 65 to draw from mine and the wife. I don't want to add it to my business income so they can tax me even more <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />. I know I'm not STJ, but I just talked to Laura from Busse to pre-order, and I could swear she said purple among the options (went with black/black like STJ.)

Thats a nice looking haul, the Gladius looks better in CG than I thought it would. Now I'm having second thoughts.. But I really don't feel like blowing close to $600 on that thing and really don't feel right asking my proxy to put money out for that.

My water treatment jobs that I was counting on died when the housing crash hit. I had two firm offers from local developers to run their water and wastewater systems. Not being able to find other work, I filed for reduced retirement benefits at 62. I suspect that in today's economy lots of us boomers are doing that. We will ride the system into it's ultimate collapse, no doubt! I recently read where 95% of all the new jobs were goverment jobs. There were more employees at the Soc Sec office than customers, and they still can't get it right. It just ticks me off that I have to pay them for their own mistakes. Oh, well. When the mother load finally comes in.....Mo money, mo money, mo money from all you good working folks for me to squander on Busses at Blade 2011! I have owned my own biz for most all my adult life so I am on cruise control. My daughter runs the biz and takes care of all the employees while I play <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />. We will meet at Blade and spend a crap load of the $$ we earned all these yaers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. We might as well spend it as we can't take it with us.Hope the idiots at SS take care of you fast and maybe pay you way too much !!
