So as much as I was in love with the NMFBM. I just traded it plus $ for another knife... really?! if you dont mind me asking... what knife? A BUSSE GLADIUS!!! I'll have to get another NMFBM again soon. I think that they'll be easier to find than the Gladius blades. When I was a kid, my dad would make wooden swords out of broken chopping boards or sometimes from scratch. One Christmas, he made one out of scrap and painted it silver. I loved it! Now, it's my yougest son's favorite play sword. It is a Gladius. So, when I saw the Busse Gladius, I knew I had to have it. That is too cool. Congrats.

I suspect it would have been so wide that it would render the grip unusable.
The grips are not molded in place, so it isn't possible to just add holes to the tang to allow the rubber to flow through. what if they just added more rivet holes? like the one they use to secure on other blades, but just more? maybe 3 like the waki? maybe even 4?

How about having several flaring tubes? If they're spaced out like the fasteners on the AK, that should hold well. Or even if there were only three of four. LOL i posted mine before flipping over to the following page
