you bought the exped in particular for hammocking? Yeah, James (MustardMan) was the one who suggested it for hammocking, it's the one he uses. It's works great. These are the mats the Swedish guys use to sleep on the ice!

I guess there is a small amount of memory foam, but that's used as the pump.

It's very durable too. The only downside? The price. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> But after being too cold a few nights it was worth it to me. (In fact, don't tell anyone, but I sold a knife to buy it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />)
