My college degree is photography, and I used to be a staff photographer at the local newspaper, years ago

I still shoot sports for them, as well as the occasional wedding or portrait job.

thats awesome! my dream is to do photography, its just really cut throat and hard to make a living. but i love it as a hobby.

yeah, me and Skunk Hunter both do this, I believe his is a little quieter department, but we both hear some doozies LOL

I do a little, but not as much as I used to. Shot a wedding last weekend, and haven't picked up my camera since. It got to where it wasn't fun anymore, so I moved to the sheriffs office.

Now I do some for myself, but not a lot. I have to be really inspired to do much with it anymore

Nikon, main body is a D2h, and I use a borrowed D300 for weddings and portraits. Also have a pile of Nikon lenses that I've accumulated over the years.
