I used to want to hunt a buffalo. They taste great but they have no flight. You can walk right up to them. Doesn't seem right. This is a wild one. It walked up on us while we were having lunch during a short hike.

I'd love to get a muzzleloader, but I'm a traditionalist, I like the Hawken style instead of these new style guns.

There is a small town west of OKC that is a free for all when the fireworks start. Even the public park is literally alive. I remember when I was in HS I got hit with a Roman Candle ball and I about whipped that kids butt senseless. Lived and learned, try not to go there but the F-I-L still likes to go out there.

Nice looking animal MB. When I was a kid my folks and I saw a herd of them running across a road in Yellowstone (I think). Don't know what made them run.

I only hunt big game with a bow anymore. I don't get as many either. But it is enjoyable.

We shot a few roman candles at some lollygaggers last 4th. I don't remember if we hit anyone though, just made noise.

Ok Jeff, I have heard of the penn and tenn flintlocks. And the brown besses, but what is a chartlesville and a Gasden flag? The Chartlesville was the French flintlock of the war. The Gadsen flag is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gadsden_flag
