I have a benchmade Vex, made in China, and it is a NICE knife! Have not had any issues with it at all, cept it's a little heavy. But considering the cost, one heck of a knife. SO what I am saying I have no qualms about having a blade "made in china" as long as the quality and heat treat are there, and I trust Spyderco to ensure that it is.

Hey, made me think. I am looking for another EDC. Right now I carry and Emerson CQC7 spearpoint, a good knife for sure. But I am wanting something a little smaller, blade wise and overall thickness. I was thinking abut the Spyderco Tenacious. What do you guys think of that one? its a great knife, especially for the price. i got both the Tenacious and its little brother the Persistence. i sold the Tenacious only because the Persistence was more my size.

Oh, the Persistence is the smaller one. THAT'S the one I ment. The tenacious is that same size (about) as my Emerson.

I've had a couple of spydercos, a sebenza and a kershaw or two as an EDC. Going to try the Hinderer and see how it feels. Oops, forgot about the Benchmade EDC as well. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
