That is what made me look at the RD6. At first I wasn't interested in the blade but it comes with a Combat Master sheath from Spec Ops. Just the sheath is $50 so the sheath plus a Ranger knife for $115 seems good to me!

I need to get some sheaths done, I would really like to carry my DM and my Scrapper 5, but don't have any pants for either of them.

I really like my ESEE-4 for edc. Light enough to carry but big enough to do whatever I need it to do

The RD6 is close to the Mutt size. That's why I want it.
The more I look at the RD6 the more I like it. I seems to be a GREAT knife.
Apparently the blank from the RD6's are from Busse.
They are 5160 that Jerry trained newbies on until he changed the way he made his knives.

Not really big on Kydex sheaths, I prefer leather myself. But sometimes kydex is the way to go, so I'm studying on what to get for them

I bought some kydex to make my own but got lazy.
Also the sheath I tried to do for my Mutt didn't turn out the way I wanted and it made me realize that I need a better press!
I don't mind paying for a quality product.

So many blades out there, and I want to know everything I can about all that I buy. That's why I included the Fallkniven in my list. Bought one and found out that they are super knives. I see more of them in my future.

I thought about trying to make my own, but by the time I bought the stuff to do it and messed up a couple, I would have been better off to just buy them.

The Falkniven's are fantastic!!!!
I love the Thor from them but haven't pulled the trigger.....YET!!!
Soon enough I suppose.
