yeah Tom, I also was looking forward to it, Patty and I had planned on being there (under the disgusise of visiting the grandbaby), but then got the word about no vacations during that time period. By the way, the Regulator is an AWESOME knife, and the sheath is pretty good too! I think that it is the best deal you will come across regarding blades and sheaths! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I hope you're right. After hearing the reviews of these knives I was expecting to pay a lot more. I really appreciate the fact that the knife is simple too. I am not concerned with the look of the knife in the least bit. I just want a reliable tool I can use in the field.

You will NOT be disappointed! I have a couple Regulators and a De-Regulator, and I think they're great. I actually prefer the De-Regulator's handle - without the upper guard. I would have loved to had one when I was in VietNam!
