I'm pretty sure you'll be very happy with your new Reg, first day I used mine, I pried open a couple stumps, breaking off huge chunks, with no ill effects to the knife. I was afraid the point would end up bending, but the grind geometry gives it a thick point that still comes to a needle tip.

If only they'd go back to training the way they did before, too. It's a Kinder, Gentler Army nowadays. I Miss Basic, but even my basic training felt like summer camp with a rifle. I was the ONLY private there who knew how to start a fire with a fire bow.

Good to hear. I was worried about the tip. I know the warranty rocks, but I don't want to be in the field when it fails. | | |

Oh yeah, I was so proud of losing 65 pounds a couple of years ago, then I gained it back. So I get to start over again.

Dan definitely makes an amazing product. I already have the MOLLE clips for the Kydex pants on my Yard Hook, that killer is going to be riding shotgun on my body armor when I deploy. Bloodthirsty thing too, it's nipped me a couple times, just being set down and picked back up. I still have a cut in my thumbnail.
