I hear ya man, gotta go back to work just to get a rest!

LOL, I just got all my chainsaws ready for wood cutting this weekend. Then I get to level out part of the backyard for an above ground pool. I would rather cut wood again.

I would rather cut the wood myself. I have helped put in ONE above ground pool, never again! You CANNOT get them things round. And I don't care how much you level the sand on the bottom, it will pot hole on ya.

I brought in a bunch of soil already but I have a feeling I only have about 1/4 of what its really going to take.

Some relatives of mine want the trees on their property thinned out. So it is a win, win situation. I get some decent firewood and they get their trees taken out.

Can't beat that price! Wood is startin to get expensive.

I am glad I have an 8 foot bed on the truck. Means less trips. Then I get the fun of splitting wood. I actually enjoy it. As long as I don't have a deadline its a pleasant thing for me.

do you split by hand or do you have a log splitter?
