I seem to have a pattern of getting involved with doctors, biologists, and biologists who become doctors. Likes the brainy types, sounds like to me. Could be a good thing.

I always liked the down to earth, outdoorsy type. Someone at home on the river or stuff like that. My wife fits me to a T, she loves being outside and is THE best cook I ever ate food from.

She loves basketball and football, fishing, hunting not so much, but anything outside she's usually up for it.

You are fortunate. Both my ex (who is still my closest friend), and my ex-fiancée (who wronged me most evilly), are outdoorsy, and superb cooks.
My current GF is also outdoorsy. She appears to be a good cook, but it's too early to say how good of a cook she is, generally.

LOL I live for football season, and my wife is as much as fan as I am. Matter of fact, that's what got us together was our love of football. So I can't complain about that.

My wife don't begrudge me my golf or my hunting, but she insists I take her fishing when I go. She also likes watching me work for photos, but she doesn't have the patience to let me finish.

I'm glad you two can enjoy sports together.
As best I recall, my ex has never once mentioned any sport in the 21 years we've been close; and I've never mentioned them to her, either.

Oh – I take that back.
Her daughter is in Peewee softball league and Peewee soccer league. We enjoy that, but not really because of the sport.

I just enjoy being outside when the weather is nice, but right now, here, it's just too hot to enjoy much that doesn't involve water. I haven't played golf in weeks, I just stay up on the river every chance I get.
