whats up guys! man it is hot over here in so cal! i think it reached up to 110 degrees! its 1030 at night right now and it feels like its around 85 still.

They filmed the fort scene at the northern end of Lake James,closed off the road and built it up on the hill looking out over the lake. Ticked off a bunch of locals, cause the drive around the lake is ~20 miles longer.
The waterfall scene was at Hickory Nut Gorge, near Chimney Rock, about an hour south of here.
