Tony - seven years ago we built a new house in the middle of a hayfield. Besides some nice area around this house, I also keep the grass mowed around our old house and a path to it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I've got about 3/4 acre that I mow, plus down the drive and around the barn, and I also help Dad mow around the old house that nobody lives in.

We don't have many filmed here, the ending of The Hunt For Red October was filmed at Lake James here, where they are bringing the sub up the river in the moonlight. That river is really our lake, put behind them by computer trickery.

We've got 23 acres altogether, and it borders the state gamelands. I've got better than 1,000 acres to hunt on with very little competition, and I love it. No close neighbors, nobody playing loud music to get on my nerves.
