I ordered the parts last night. I ordered a M7 Bayonet, which will be cannibalized for parts and some loveless bolts to hold the parts together. I will pick up the flat bars of steel and the oak at the local hardware store once the other parts get here

I had a craftsman brand before, but it broke. Since I am here in Germany where Bosch (owner of Dremel) I figured I could get a good deal on one. I did too. It was 60 Euro the Dremel 4000 and 55 bit/wheels/attachments and a flex shaft.

I made some virtual schematics last night on a CAD program. I think I will have to put a hole in the tang. Sucks, but I figured out a way to do it near the pommel. That way it should hurt the integrity of the steel.

About 77 dollars. I thought the Euro was worth more that that against the dollar.

Yeah, the Euro has weakened due to Greece's financial problems. I just cut a Euro in half by the way.
