Not quite the same, but I watched a long time friend die right in front of me when I was 19.
Did cpr on him until the ambulance arrived

I have almost completely stopped going to movies, when I realized it took a couple hundred hours of movie watching, and a few hundred dollars, to see a movie I deeply appreciated.

Never had to use CPR in all the years I've been certified. About 24-25 years. Glad it's never come to it, still don't know if I could or not.

I got certified in CPR, a few years ago, because I spend a lot of time taking care of my ex's kids.
Thankfully, I haven't had to perform CPR, yet.

I was a first responder/EMT for a few years, but our district was extremely slow back then. Now, dispatching, not a lot of chances at work.
