Mike, she has the regular 75-300 zoom non IS lens. Do you think the extender would work ok for her or would it be to shaky w/out the IS? I don't know whether the 2x would couple with the 75-300. Assuming it would, then it should work. It will be optically poorer, as well as more shaky, but it might still be usable.

Thought you would like it! When she told me she got it (there really was a young black bear in a cypress tree discovered about 5 miles away the day before she did this) I was so excited for her. Then she showed me the pic and I cracked up!
