AMEN Brother. My Dr is on me like diaper rash to AT LEAST walk 20-30 minutes a MINIMUM of 3 times a week. Nope, I'm not and I'm paying for it. yeah I'm not all that bright.

What gets me is I was walking 3 miles a day/5 days a week at one point. Then I hurt my back last summer and I haven't been right since. I can only walk about a mile now, and instead of 3.3 or 3.4 mph, it's more like 2.8-2.9.

I'll say (and YES I need to take my own advice) the important part is walking even if it is slower than what you used to do. Last count, I'm 6ft and 276 pound 56 year old diabetic. In other words, I am a walking, waiting heart attack or stroke!
