I used "fire hot" yellow mustard for the patina. I left each application on for 45 minutes. There were two applications.

I have an ESEE Izula I need to wrap. Maybe JJ's suggestion can help me figure it out.

Todd, how do you like the izula? Do you know how the blade length compares to the small sebbie blade length. I know It sounds strange but I have a hard time visualizing something a lot of times without actually seeing it in person.

Just add a few short pieces (the length of the handle at least) to this tutorial and you can have a true weave.

Not sure, never handled the Sebbie. I do know that the blade is a little smaller than my Kershaw Blur, if you've ever handled one of those. The Izula is a tough little customer, I carry mine in my hip pocket a lot. The sheath is perfect, and without wraps the knife handle looks like a comb or something like that. Anything other than a knife.

Oh, do you know how long the blade is from the point to the plunge line? THAT will help me a lot.

Don't have a ruler handy, but it's exactly the width of a dollar bill. Just pulled mine out to check.
