Basically it strikes me the Badger is the edc we all need.. I know I hate micarta but that little knife just has to be got at factory price; rather than after market rip-off price, don't dither BUY BUY BUY! (you'll only kick yourself later if you don't) Thank you, normal service will now be resumed.. Micarta is uncomfortable for me on a big blade. On a small blade with a larger handle I like Micarta just fine.

Kraz, same here!! I look forward to taking my DF and Badger Attack (best Busse name ever after Terror Monkey) into the woods, res-C for big 'uns, micarta ok on little 'uns..

85% chance I will. I'm just torn on whether to get a magnum CG or an LE. The .25" LE is going to Mutt-like in its demeanor.

All of my swamp orders that I have, have been thru the company store, all in stock.
My Ak was thru the busse store, in stock and here in 3 days, the same with my skeleton key.
my skinner i got during an extravaganza, here in a week.
I only placed one real order with the old swamp rat ordering system. never got the knife. while the situation was partially resolved, it has never been fully taken care of, after years, which is why i do not buy from the swamp any more, nor go on the message boards there.
though i must admit that i fell for the axe!
when i get my fingers burnt, i look at fire in a different way.
