Change of subject, but I've got a sweet little .410 savage/stevens. It's a bolt action with a tubular magazine under the barrel like a 22. I just like the way it looks. Kinda like a 22 on steroids!

Yep both are heavy barrels.
I would love to have one of those combo rifles Skunk. Those things are great and tough to find now.

MB. it's not a combo gun. it's a .410 bolt action shotgun but the magazing is under the barrel like on a 22 rimfire. What is that Black beauty?

The black one is a Rem 700 PS LTR DM in 308. 20 inch fluted barrel. HS precision stock, Leoupold Vari-X III and other assorted goodies. My old sniper rifle. It still cleans up pretty good.

MB. I thought that was what that was. I couldn't afford one of them but I did get a Rem 700 VLS W/26 inch heavy barrel (weighs 10 pounds empty!) But sure is a tac driver!
