I'm new to the Yard and I was wondering how Mr. Busse releases the next knife for sale. Does he post "Here it is Boys" or "this is it." I would like to be ready so I'll be able to get one. Many thanks in advance for the info. I typically post a picture and specs a week or so ahead of the release. I then give the Yard (this forum) a 48 hour and 24 notice. The knife will then be posted for sale on the ScrapYardKnives.com website for ordering. Welcome to the Yard Dumpster Dan

Unfortunately I missed the DM too before i tryed the forum. Great group, some of these posts are pretty insightful too!

Thanks for the tips. I am starting to realize just how nieve I was thinking I could just place my order! This is way cooler-provided I can get one! Its funny cause i use to do the samething. When i found out about the dogfather and the site i use to go to order page everyday for like a month and try and see if any knives where in stock and nothing lol. Then i desided to check the forums and thats when i got the same info. Now im addicted to the knives and the community.

KnifeParty - I'm 1.5 hours North of Bakersfield in a little town called Laton. I was in your neighborhood on Wed. and Thur. working at the Kern Oil Refinery. I troubleshoot for the refineries on the Westcoast, so I pass through Bakersfield on the way to LA whenever they need me. Keep in touch.
