Twice, in two different countries I came out of a bar and had to ask a local where the base was only to find out the main gate was only two blocks away!

Oh and ONCE I forgot where my room was, but no worries, the bar was in the barracks building, so I just crawled home after someone told me it was about 100 feet away.

so for my next knife project, I think I'm gonna take my modded TT reg, and add a sharpened swedge and maybe serrations, I was thinking about making a micarta handle for it also

I am really doing it. I am putting all the recipes from the cook book thread into an indesign doc. that can be printed out. I will of course convert it to PDF.
