Well today there was a sweet little package from USPS waiting for me when I got home today. First the pics.

Here is the Mutt with my Busse Natural Outlaw Ergo.

Here is a comparison shot of the spines on both of the above knives. The Mutt is the top one.

First off I have to say that the Mutt is much smaller than I had pictured in my head. For some reason, even after Dan gave the dimensions, I pictured the Mutt being much bigger. I thought it would be closer in size to the NO-E pictured above.

It is probably closer to the BA-III but fat.
3/16" INFI Steel * 4 1/2" Blade * 9 3/4" OAL *

But this is a pleasant surprise as it fits the niche of the EDC I have been looking for. But man is this thing thick. I mean THICK! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

All I can say is that Dan packed a lot into a small package. Very nice.

Two wonderful knives there DN! Congrats! Isn't it wild that the DM is as thick as the NO-E? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Dumpster Mutt is 9 1/2 inches long I believe.

Maybe it's my eyes but the Mutt appears to be a tad thicker than the NO-E.

The DM is a serious chunk of steel! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> Can't wait for it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Really like the NO-E as well!

I think you're right! I looked it up on Badmojo:

DM .285
NO-E .250

Wowzer.

I imagined a full sized grip like the DF, which threw off my whole image of its size. I like the looks of the Basic grip, but its a little too small for me. That being said, the DM is one of my favorite knives! I'd like to see a big brother to the DM sometime.

Glad you got your knife!

DM seems to be the same size as Basic5.

Very nice pic's. I am glad that it arrived safely! It does look a little thicker than the NO-E.

Nice looking blades, DN. I was surprised by the Dumpster Mutt's size, too. I was thinking Scrapper 6 with an inch shorter blade. I am glad it is smaller. It will make a great EDC.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I was also picturing an S6 with a 5 inch blade. It has really grown on my though.
