ok, call me paranoid.....but I am not one to let MY data fall into the wrong hands....
tonight i had some fun......I encrypted ALL my hard drives with Win 7 BitLocker to start. Then i encrypted EACH INDIVIDUAL file folder (documents photos, videos etc) with AxCrypt. Then i encrypted each individual file inside those folders.
all the file keys are on a USB stick (encrypted of course) around my neck . each password or key or recovery key is BURIED deep in MULTIPLE folders (each descending folder is encrypted with various algorithms)
last but not least, anything i delete (files etc) on the computer goes thru Peter Gutmann's 35 pass algorithm.
when i comes time to replace hard drives i wipe the old ones multiple times using Peter Gutmann's 35 pass algorithm, then i destroy the disk platter by dropping it into the forge and folding the platter over and over until it is a lump.
emails are sent encrypted, AND embedded in a JPG image. Each recipient has their own key.
nuff said. geeking out eh!

I painted the bayonet handle with some Dupli Color silicon based paint. Cured it in the oven and now waiting on the black paracord to get here. The PX only bad grey and I want to do a two tone wrap
