I am just waiting on some black 550 cord so I can make a two tone wrap. All they had at military sales was the blueish gray the Army uses these days. I want to do a weave technique like on that scrap knife I made with the strands going down the length of the handle in black and the rest in grey or camo cord.

SS4 is NICE! BUT YOU'RE GONNA PAY! I would really like one as well, matter fact I would gladly give up my S5 for one. But they are FEW and FAR between but do pop up from time to time.

I took a look at the sheath that came with the bayonet the other day. It looks like I can cut it (it's hard plastic) into a smaller sheath and retain the clips on the back of it. I may even be able to integrate it onto the Reg sheath, which needs modding now since the retaining straps won't fit around the new handle.

Sounds doable, but you might want to retain it for a backup/hideout piece. They CAN come in handy.
