I had a Blackhawk convertible with the .357/9mm, good shooting gun. It's another that falls into my "what was I thinking when I sold that?" list. It's a long list, unfortunately.

oh it has to be .45 because of those 335 grain, 1300 fps loads that only the blackhawk can handle.
 excluding single shots.
Redhawk DA will handle them too. BTW, I have about 35 of those bad boy loads from Buffalo Bore. A handful to say the least.

I love revolvers, my favorite that I ever owned was a Ruger Redhawk .357 Mag. It was a massive hunk of steel, but you could shoot any load in it and it was so heavy it just absorbed the recoil. But it was too heavy to carry, and I ended up trading it for a couple of other guns. Seems like I got a 10/22 and a Ruger Blackhawk .357 for it, if memory serves me right.

not a bad trade. i am the obsessive type and have been learning about guns since 2002, but still haven't made a purchase. i have changed my taste in weapons enough times but for the last few years i've been pretty steady with the m1 garand, blackhawk, and some .22's and 1911's topping my list. it's like i got practical without ever spending a dime.
would also love a sig p238.

I'm not a fan of the P238, but I never liked the Colt Mustangs either. I don't want a pocket pistol cocked and locked in my pocket. Too close to the important stuff LOL.

I've bought and sold probably 100 guns over the past 25 years, but right now I only have about 10 or so, and most of them are hunting guns. I have a few pistols, but I'm seriously thinking about dropping at least one caliber and maybe just going to all 9mm or .40 cal. This knife obsession is getting the best of my gun dealing LOL.

This knife obsession is getting the best of my gun dealing LOL. A bad obsession is when you try to match a knife to each gun. Its driving me nuts ...or broke. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />
