Recently traded for a Dumpster Mutt. Got to pick it up at the Post Office Tuesday morning. I really like the litte sucker. I used it to open one of those annoying pill blister packs for my wife by gripping the spine near the tip and using the nice pointy penetrator tip. Next I used it to split a foam pool noodle, trying to block the space between my daughter's changing table and the wall, where she throws the things we give her to keep her from crying while we change her diaper, clean her face (eyes, ears, nose, etc.) Idea didn't work, but DM cut the foam cleanly, which I didn't really expect. Next, to the yard. I used it to snap cut a few briars that were in my way. Again, I was really impressed. The weight of it made the snap cuts a one shot deal if I hit where I meant to. The grind lines are awesome on this little bugger and now I remember one of the reasons I loved my B9 so much, the Basic handles and a weight forward balance. I was afraid that this would be too much like my S6 to be a keeper, but I was wrong. They are totally different knives. I think this would make a great EDC or weekend carry. Considering a kydex IWB sheath. Thanks for the awesome, affordable blade Patti & Dan. Keep up the good work. Next.....

Glad you like your Mutt Greg. It's handy as all get out and as far as I can tell, virtually indestructable.

It's a winner for EDC in my book. It's a hell of a price point for such a beastly blade. Definiltey hats off to the yard for making this available.

I too have adpoted a Dumpster Mutt. He just left his old home today and should be here very soon (2-3 days via priority). Unfortunately I live in the city and don't have much of a yard for my new Mutt to play in, but we will be taking a trip real soon out to the woods of northern Michigan where my Mutt can do what it is Scrap Yard Dogs do best. Congratulations on your new Mutt Greg.

Glad you got the Mutt, Greg. You are right, it is a totally different knife from the S6. Great little beast in a compact package.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

GregB Foam is always a difficult material to work with. I am pleased that you are happy with the Mutt. Thanks for sharing Dan
