Whats up guys, I finally have a Dogfather coming my way and I dont have much $ to spend on a sheath. So I was going to get the 10" Cordura sheath but im a fan of kydex...has anyone owned the Dogfather kydex sheath in the company store & if so how do you like it?..or should I just get the cordura.
Thanks guys

That being said,I would wait and get a leather sheath. But if there is no foreseeable future for leather the Cordura has a liner and looks great!

Go with the Nylon outsides just because it looks so much better than raw black Kydex.

Then again....there are colored Kydex DF sheath makers out here too!

LGM,I guess taste is your real concern, follow your heart.

Peace.

if your limited the cordura is fine. SY has some good ones that fit nice and are functional, but I personally haven't had the same results with their kydex

besides most of our great custom sheath makers don't charge a lot for kydex, ask them and compare

A plus for the cordura from the store is the pouch,it will hold a multi tool/sak,small sharpener, fire steel, flash light etc etc.

It's better to have it & not need it, than to need it & not have it.

Although from what I've seen, ( and I will KNOW) in a few more months , you can't go wrong with Rainwalkers leather.

I have both the factory kydex and the cordura sheaths. The cordura is better quality and has a pocket. The kydex works, it isn't the prettiest but it works for the way I use that knife. The fit and retention is decent compared to the smaller factory kydex, where I can barley get the knife out. Though if you want kydex I would recommend aftermarket, I like buy brown but every one has a favorite.
