Well, it's finally almost here <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />:

I don't know if I'll be able to swing it, but I'll sure try.
I think that this will better fit those who liked the SAR4 but thought it was a little long for the 4" designation. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

The talon hole and tiny choil deter me. I like to be able to carve as close to my fist as possible, for leverage. It's a nice looking knife though!

A satin Sar5 and now we're talking!

Not decided on this one yet.

It sure is nice looking but I already have a Swamp Rat HRLM on the way.

I actually like a SAR4 - but with that said-I will most likely buy one <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. Nice lil knife. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I was fortunate to get in on the Urban Grudges; it has some of the SAR design features, but the blade and handle height are less and the blade is shaped to penetrate aggressively. I'm VERY happy with that model and have a plethora of 3 to 4 inch utility blades, so I'll probably pass on the SAR3. There's nothing wrong with it -- I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy it, but it just doesn't sing to me.

There's a picture over on BF with a SAR3 back/back to a SAR4, which puts the scale of this little knife into perspective. Look at the size of the handle rivets in both pictures, and you'll notice how small this SAR3 actually is (handle isn't near as large as the SAR4). I will repeat what others have said...this looks like a great hunting blade. I might have to replace the Game Warden with one of these little beauts.

EDIT 2....Oh, and it's thINFI!!! WOoo! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

EDIT...stole the SAR4 pic for reference:

I hope the price will be right and it will be possible to snag one of these without watching the company store like a hawk 24/7..

Purty blade. Anyone want to give me one for my birthday? Or Christmas? Kwanza? National Doughnut Day? Do I have to beg? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
