Guys, this might be a stupid question. Please keep in mind that I am new here as I proceed to ask it anyway.

I am already becoming very addicted to the site and the knives. So much so that I am thinking of ordering another knife already. When I look at the "Knives" section on the main site I am like a kid in a candy store. I see the prices and such but there is no "add to cart" button. Then when I click on the "place order" tab I see the section where I placed the order for my first knife from the site.

My question is this. Can I call up the company, or email them with the name of the knife that I want and place an order that way? Are all of the knives in the "knives" section that have already been released available for purchase?

Like I said, this may be a stupid question but I would really appreciate an answer so that I can decide what knife I want next for sure and get my order placed.

It's not stupid at all. Have a gander at the Rules and Scrap Yard info stickied at the top of the forum list. You find the buying instructions there.

On 2008-09-24 Dumpster Dan made a major change to the way you can buy knives at the Yard (http://www.scrapyardknives.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=Knives&Number=213988). Scrap Yard Knives will now take orders on 1 or 2 models for approx. 4-6 weeks (depending on the model) and will then discontinue that offer. NO additional orders will be accepted until those models come back around in the model rotation. It could be 2 to 3 years before those models are made available again. This approach allows the customer a better chance of getting in on a model offering while allowing us to batch process or group build knives. This, in turn, assists us in keeping a lower cost of production, while ensuring high quality bladeware and the high performance that has become the hallmark of Scrap Yard Knives.

The models on the " knives" page are no longer available through the company, you can find them on the secondary market, don't feel bad, almost everyone tries that at first. Welcome to the yard if I haven't said that yet

Well, I am glad that I found this place in time to order a Regulator before it got shut down until the next go round! I can't wait to get it, I know it will be awhile, gonna be hard to wait. In the mean time, I am gonna order a Rainwalker sheath for it.

Depending on the next release, I just may be ordering it as well. I am hooked already. I have always liked knives, this place is gonna consume a lot of my income, haha.
